No. Actually it does say a lot about you. It was pretty plain what he was talking about, yet you automatically jumped to the conclusion he did not understand.
Now you are posting all kinds of negative things about recruits we are after without understanding the context of those comments either.
Alabama is clearly the best program in the SEC, but Georgia is closing the gap fast, and you seem to feel threatened by that. I suspect there is nothing a Georgia fan could say that you would agree with at this point.

Most of us have our feet planted firmly on the ground. We expect a step back this year, then come on strong next year and subsequent years. We are not predicting to be Alabama like and win 6-7 National Titles (Although we certainly hope that happens), but we do think we have a shot at 1-2. I mean, honestly....look at the similarities of Alabama's initial climb to superiority the last 7-8 years, and look at what is happening at Georgia, and surely even Alabama fans can recognize that we are heading in the right direction.
New facilities and upgrades. Top recruiting classes. Top end coach. Great assistant coaches. Support from the administration.
A blind man can see we have reason to be excited.
And only a blind man would deny that we are headed in the right direction.

I wouldn't even respond to comments like that. If it were Tennessee or Auburn fans in our situation this board would have crashed by now. People can do and way whatever they want within the rules of the board, and the rest can suck it up.

I can agree with the direction of the program and reason to be excited for your fans but disagree that most of your fans have their feet planted. How many threads need to be started about the recruits you got or how many times do you fans need to brag about it.
I mean I can understand if you were Ole Miss, USC or even aTm but you guys are acting like you have never been here before. I guess it has been a long draught but acting like you were poor and just won the lottery only makes for good entertainment for the rest of board.

I was just responding to that specific comment.
The Mods need to be doing a better job at cleaning this specific board up IMO.

Or, an alternative theory could be you and other BAMA fans are just a little salty that your former DC is building a “Bama-like” power in the East and is recruiting on a Bama-like level.

True. But Dawgs4Life47 has started a thread each of the last 3 weeks talking about our recruiting class. That's just not normally how this board works.
I mean, feel free to bump it or whatever, but I can get why other fans would be a little put off by it.

Building what again? Kirby yes he was the former DC but how many times did he play to tight in games and Saban took over? Everyone knew when Smart was at UA it was Saban’s D.
Recruiting is recruiting. Until Kirby can show he can develop players we have no idea how good the recruiting efforts were. Time will tell on that. Many programs recruit at the top but recruiting does not translate to wins all the time. UF had great classes with Meyer but Saban gave him a heart attack and made him quit.
The same could also be said about Kirby what has he done yet on the field to demonstrate he is any better then Richt? Weren’t most of the starters CMR recruits last year?

That's true. It doesn't translate to wins all of the time. But surely you're aware there is strong correlation/causation with recruiting and winning. And Meyer won a National Championship at Florida. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I think that's relatively fair because his first two seasons definitely mirror Richt, but he's also following up those seasons with recruiting classes better than Richt ever had. That should help us stay near the top of the CFB world.

Explain how this Recruiting board works...because all I see every other thread is a topic with a star rating + a name and who they committed too.

Honestly? Some of it is overbearing to me, too, for many of the same reasons you said. But in all honestly every single fan base has their "special" posters, and if any of them had come as close to the National Championship as us, they would be just as bad.
I mean, some Auburn posters still think their program is as good as Alabama.

nobody is fussing at you or belittling you. Just trying to give a little direction to help make things pleasant for everybody.
Nobody, and I mean nobody likes the loud talking braggart that gets on the cell phone talking about his house, car and how much money he makes. It's just bad form.

That's basically what this board is for. Or if a highly rated kid is coming to visit that is a thread worthy post. This is a troll free zone (Supposedly) Not one for bragging as such, although it also is, in a way.
Mainly for information purposes, or to discuss a recruit. Not for pointing at your recruiting ranking. I mean, things are fluid and rankings change. Nobody wants to hear from 4-5 different fan bases talking about their ranking that day.

How many times did Saban take over? I’ll say a grand total of zero. Submit proof it you have contrary evidence.
