Jay Hayes, who had originally committed to Oklahoma, just committed to play at UGA for his final season.

That's not how you supposed to announce it......

UGA adds grad transfer and former 4* DL from ND
From now on that's how you announce it

We need the bodies.
We had zero DL come in with the '17 class.

DL was the weakest position recruited in '18.

We have upper class talent. But not much else behind it (converting OL to DL just to have bodies during the spring).

UGA doesn't mess with lower than 4* talent anymore. I figured putting that in the thread title was unnecessary.

A starting OL from UMASS blocking a starting DL from ND. I'll take that matchup.

Another piece of the puzzle, I expect Clark-Rochester-Ledbetter to start but it's nice to have more depth especially the way UGA rotates on the D-line.

Because ND is known for putting out great DL?

This guy seems like a good player, but even if he's just average, the extra body is a massive boost.

This also coincides with Pat Allen transferring, which basically meant we chose to swap a backup OL for a backup DL. If you know Georgia's roster, that's a worthwhile move.

Is UMass known for putting out great OL? You're welcome to start a thread about your mediocre pick up if you're so proud of it.

UGA has senior leadership on the DL. But we rotate very heavy. This guy is needed (recruiting has been light the past 2 seasons on DL... this is a good band aid for the 2018 season).

This guy has one career sack and never started a game but isn't mediocre?

Jack Driscoll was rated by PFF as one of the top 5 tackles in the group of 5. At least he's proven something.

Y'all are being so damn defensive I didn't come here to talk negative about your new player but yalls insecurity tells me y'all know its a meaningless addition.

No one has claimed he's going to be a game changer for us. We need defensive line depth and he provides it. You chose to be a condescending arse per usual so a few of us responded in similar fashion.

That wasn't my original post though, was it? That was a reply to a UGA fan who kicked off the shite talking.

Congrats on adding essentially a body for depth in practice. All we got was a potential starter with 2 yrs of eligibility. Being from a bigger school totes makes your guys the better add. There, now try not to be so insecure.

I came in here with cheers for your commit. DawgRff was a condescending arse to me so I responded in kind.
