People acting like UT and UF were in on Walker before Auburn

Auburn can't have him. He hasn't joined a team yet, gotten arrested, and then kicked off.
My money is on Tennessee.

So it's pure happenstance that Walker's mother quit her job the day after Gus has an in home visit with them?
Sorry you can't hang with the big ballers

But for real AU has been in his recruitment MUCH longer than Tennessee

Not sure why that matters when everyone on our staff was recruiting him from different jobs before.

Gonna be interesting. Hope AU's proximity to Coredele and his former teammate Big Cat Bryant sends him to AU.

I am just trying to explain that AU isn't coming out of nowhere in this race. Obviously Tennessee has become a factor because of the coaches that were hired there. My point is AU has always been in the race so it shouldn't be a shock that we have a chance at the end along with everybody else
FWIW I think he goes to Tennessee. I just dispute the notion that somehow AU is coming out of left field to steal Walker

Auburn has been recruiting him for over 2 years and we've worked the South Georgia area for a few years, including getting his teammate last year. I'll be amazed if Pruitt can sell him on Knoxville when he has offers from the national champions and an offer from the team that beat the national champions is a little over 100 miles from his hometown. Nothing against UT, but Pruitts sell is early playing time with maybe a shot at something in 3-4 years.

See, I'm actually a Vols fan because you guys can take out UGA and UA for us every year.
But frick UT right now, come home walker, I'm headed to cordele with a heavy brown paper bag in the passenger seat...

He's also likely to commit before NSD to someone

Meanwhile, ESPN released its commitment times for NSD. Obviously, several guys with UT ties are set to announce. What's interesting is that Quay Walker isn't on the list. Some thought he was set to make a TV announcement, too. Here's the tentative schedule.
Tyson Campbell — 10 a.m. (Notably the Vols are not listed among Campbell's final schools. This one remains a Hail Mary for UT)
Olaijah Griffin — 1 p.m.
Jacob Copeland — 2 p.m.
