I’m sure Straws will be here soon to tell you why it’s actually a good thing

Yep. He still thinks we land Pittman despite almost every expert has him going to Oregon

This happened to Mullen back in 2016 I think. Twitter is hard.

This staff is just as much of a joke as the last one, I was really hoping to be wrong. Dammit this sucks.

Idk what you’re laughing about Mullen took Special Ed to the woodshed last year. LSU is worse off than all of us with that fraud.

Idk ed can at least load the roster for the next HC.

He had the worst recruiting class I can remember in years for LSU last year. He’s doing okay in state this year but so would anybody at LSU. You will never convince me Ed Orgeron is better for a Program than Mullen. I don’t care how down I am on Mullen.

Mullen is a very good coach
His success and future at Florida will come down to recruiting better athletes than he did at MSU. I don't see any reason why he can't succeed if he brings in the talent.
No excuses not to considering its frickn Florida.
Its still early and we have ways before NSD but it seems like there is a bit of a struggle on the recruiting trail. Maybe it will change come football season.

Not saying he won't be good, but you LSU folk sure are putting a ton on a kids shoulders who was a backup at his last stop.

So in other words, like every other QB prospect at LSU.

Which finished 15th last year and will still be a better class than Merlin’s this year.

You all go on thinking this kid is only “back up” material

I mean that’s exactly what he was. Facts hurt sometimes...

He actually played a decent bit and looked good, not just a pure backup who has never seen any time. No starter was named for this season when he decided to transfer and most tOSU fans wanted him to start over Haskins who will be the starter now by default. tOSU was simply loaded at QB and he wanted to ensure he would get to start somewhere before his eligibility was up. Let's not forget not that long ago tOSU's backup QB won them a NC. Meyer definitely knows QBs.
Burrow is definitely much better than what we would have trotted out there this season, the other guys just aren't ready. How much better remains to be seen, but it's obvious why they went out to get him. He's got experience, has the physical attributes and is a leader. Just a more complete package.

Everyone denouncing him as just a backup QB is laughable. So is the immediate reply that most OSU fans wanted him to start over Haskins.
