Surprised no thread on this. A lot of SEC schools with prized recruits on display. My notes so far:

1. Zach Evans is quick.

2. Best QB so far is Jeff Sims. Very smooth throwing motion and fluid runner. GT is lucky to nab him from FSU. Chandler Morris is close behind that. He is just undersized.

3. Burch looks good with a sack and a pressure.

4. Trent Stimpson looks really good at LB. TFL and a few tackles.

5. Darnell Washington is vastly overrated. He is tall, stiff and slow. Not a good route runner at all. Very clumsy. Not sure what the hullabaloo is about him. I’ve seen quite a few practice cuts over the week and he consistently drops passes and runs stiff route. Creates very little separation. Seeks he got the rating because of his size but that doesn’t always translate to the football field. Perhaps on the court he would be better.

6. Haynes King is much faster than expected, but the offensive line he has is terrible.

Yeah Darnell Washington is not impressive at all. Definitely an athlete that plays TE and not a TE that is athletic.

Also disappointed in some of these receivers. I don't understand the hype over Fleming and some others.

You evaluate these guys in practice. You have Deion and Ed Reed out there 'coaching' these guys...

Say all that, we are all here for the announcements which Tech is never involved in so

Agree. OL hasn’t been a strong point tonight but the White team does not have a good one.

Warren Brinson went down early and it didn’t Look good at first but he was back the next series. Was glad to see that. Do not want to see any injuries in this game.

So tbe best qb is going to tech and a UGA commit is the most overrated. I'm shocked by your analysis.

Don’t be mad. It’s on field. Sims was ranked the best QB yesterday after practice. Card was second. Tonight that has played out.

Nothing about my analysis on Darnell is wrong based on practice this week and the game tonight. He had one target in the endzone and couldn’t get under the ball and couldn’t fend off a DB that was 6 inches shorter than him.

Zach E vans is going to UGA likely no? He was my number one comment.

I've been unimpressed to say the least. He's been easily flustered and inaccurate.

Two of those passes hit the receiver right in the hands, another one was caught by Ochocinco Jr. but he couldn't get a foot down.

Kayshon Boutte looks like the best WR in the game confirming all the reports of him dominating practice all week.

Love you using one half to make analysis that guys like Fleming are overhyped.

Jaylon Jones looks like he has to make every tackle on defense for Savage.

Pretty happy with what I’ve seen out of King. OL isn’t doing him any favors but you can tell he’s still a little raw but has all the tools to be great.

LINK

National recruiting analyst had 4 of my stand outs in his list of impressive guys so far.

Don’t see Washington on there. I’ve seen many reviews that he hasn’t had a good week at all again elite talent. Las Vegas isn’t exactly known as a power house for talent. Ask Tate Martell.

He’s 6’8 250 lbs with a 7’3 wingspan.

I’m not worried.
