Ole Miss has signed 2 Louisiana players in the past 10 years that had LSU offers - both from the New Orleans area - neither kid ever committed to LSU. Now you "feel good" about flipping a commit from Lake Charles? I'm not saying it can't happen...but given the history, feeling like you "have a good chance" isn't....well....rational thinking.

Freeze has been our coach for two years, so whats happened in the past 10 years means nothing. We also never landed the #1 player in the country before, or the #1 WR of the #1 OL. We will sign two CB this year and both will be the highest rated we've ever signed. We will also sign the highest rated LB we've ever signed. Not one of those players mentioned is a MS native.

How many were from LA and offered by LSU?
