I've heard that Trevor has actually been in contact with UT coaches and it was HIM who contacted the coaches. Not sure if there's any truth to this just reporting what I've heard.

I just read this too. Has there been any buzz around Lawrence and LSU? I know LSU is a great destination but this one just seems so out of left field.

From what I've heard he's always had lowkey interest in checking LSU out but Cam Cameron was fricking up any chance we had. Not answering texts, being an arse to Trevor's dad, shite like that. He's gone now so the current coaching staff is working to get him interested again. frick Cam Cameron.

It's very possible that happened.

Cam Cameron is well known to be a dick and extremely stubborn. I have no idea why but he straight up ignored the Lawrences. Probably was too busy writing love letters to Feleipe Franks.

Trevor Lawrence with the talent LSU routinely have at skill positions would be an unbelievable combination

True. Thank goodness they are in the West if he goes.

It was good enough for Eason who's progressing pretty well

To me, Eason's progression has been marginal at best.

You haven't watched enough of him then. He is the only reason we were marginally close against Florida, and that is arguably the best pass D in the conference.

His biggest improvement has come when deciding to throw the ball away. The first few games he forced a lot. I was really impressed with how he understood when to throw it away on Saturday.

He should have been 25/33 with 300 yards on Saturday but his damn WRs dropped 9 easy passes.

So Lawrence's family reached out to our coaches last week to gauge our interest, we put D Craig on him, and he's already visiting. Kind of interesting.

If you get Jimbo. It would make a lot of sense to go to LSU. But his folks aren't going to let him go down there to be coached by O. Just aren't going to do it.

Thought he was a Clemson lock after delaying his announcement but it seems he is opening up his recruiting again. Jimbo to LSU with the chance to resurrect that program with all the offensive weapons could make it very interesting. He gave the Dawgs every opportunity and they didn't deliver.

Regardless of who is the leader or in his lead group, the fact that his camp reached out to a new program tells you he's still open.

I will say we are going to have to really shite the bed this weekend (which I don't excpect since it's at home) for him to not come away very impressed with LSU. The game day atmosphere in BR for the Bama game is always unreal.
