I personally don't see them landing Hunter and Trevor.

Lawrence has stated several times competition is welcomed. He will not go to a school simply because he is guaranteed a starting job. Which is the main leg up that LSU would provide. Without Jimbo, TLaw is going to UGA or Clemson. With Jimbo, things could get very interesting in a hurry.

If he ends up at LSU with Jimbo he could flip a lot of potential Bama commits and FSU would have to rebuild. Wouldn't even be that mad if they can put a dent into the Saban recruiting train.

It's not that black and white. If we keep Coach O and hire a top of the line OC (which is going to happen if he is retained) then what's the difference in him playing for coach O or Kirby Smart?

One is close to home and one isn't.

That's not my point. My point is, if the fact that O is his coach turns him off then why wouldn't Kirby being his coach turn him off?

Because there's more upside for him personally to go to Georgia, so he's more likely to ignore the defensive coach thing

I'll be the first to say it, it would be a mistake on his part to go to Tennessee or Georgia with their current staffs in place.

My source says he's scared of Jake Fromm and Eason. Or at least that's the rumor I'll be spreading if he commits elsewhere.

Did he witness the one who's starting as a true freshmen?

I know right. If he was going to wait to see which team won a bunch of games, he would be committed to Clemson right now.

It does not look good for either of us that he is taking visits elsewhere. Dawgs have underperformed, to an extent the Clemson O has underperformed from what the expectations were pre season, our D has over performed. Clemson and DW are trying to convert more to a pro style offense and it works, it's just not clicking on all cylinders every game. It's still a long way out and anything could happen.
