I also wonder how a less than stellar season from Butch Jones may effect his decision. One thing UT has going for them is that they are always stacked at WR.

I don't think he would care about how UT does on the field as much as what they do on the field. UT currently relies on the mobility of the QB...Trevor is your prototypical drop back passer. The perfect QB for Chaney's system.

UT will have to show that they are willing to go back to what DeBord did back at Michigan between now and signing day in '18. Fortunately, they have two seasons to do that.

TL has some wheels. He can almost be considered DT imho.

All I know is that he needs to be wearing orange in a couple years.

I believe he's committing at the end of this summer. So I don't think they can underperform.

Because kids never break commitments? Especially when done years before they can sign?

Rust, our 247 Insider, believes it will come down to UGA and Clemson in the end.

Richt did not give a shite Clemson took Watson, Kirby is a different breed and will actually fight for this young man. As highly as Trevor has spoke of Chaney I get the hunch UGA is the favorite here, if he pulls the trigger this summer anybody think Fromm starts to look around?

There definitely weren't many Clemson fans jumping for joy when Richt left. Not that he hadn't built a good program, but we were starting to make serious inroads into Northeast Georgia like we used to do with Danny Ford.

I expect things will be much tougher with Kirby although if Watson continues to flourish with this offense, and we continue to recruit fleets of WRs, it'll be tough for any QB to pass-up that opportunity.

Definitely going to be a brutal recruitment for all involved.

Any updates on Lawrence? I could be wrong, but I believe he said he would like to make his commitment by the end of summer.

No, he doesn't really do many interviews. He said he wants to commit before his junior year.

Some insiders say UT and some say UGA. I'm sure Clemson has some that say he's CU's to lose.

Dawgs will have Fromm with a season of experience. Lawrence will not be a Dawg.

Experience holding a clipboard maybe. Lawrence is a more talented QB than Fromm and shouldn't be scared of him.

Fromm is probably a Top 5 signal caller in the nation and beast in his own right. We could win with all of them but I do believe Lawrence has an it factor that just sets him apart not only from Fromm but from Eason and most QBs but they all have room to improve and Fromm or Eason could end up being a superstar but right now I just love TL's game.
