Really good player. Great instincts, reacts to the ball well, and reads and diagnoses plays very well. He is aggressive when attacking the ball.

Atkinson is the most heralded off ball linebacker to come out of the state of Georgia in a very long time.
But at the time time middle linebacker is the one position where Georgia can afford to lose someone like Tyler Atkinson.
It sucks, but it would've sucked way more if we missed out on the top O lineman to come out of Georgia in a very long time or the best DT or cornerback.
