Our 2009 team was a way, way better team than this last team, and how on earth are you going to pin rankings on us? The AP poll isn't decided by Ole Miss fans.

The whole heisman campaign started because some ESPN blogger listed Snead on his heisman watch list.
And we started the season in the top 10, how can you not hype that up?
At least we didn't litter the board with grinding nonsense and get humiliated nationally for hashtagging, fake snow having, commemorating an independence bowl doing, glittery uniforms on multiple occasions wearing, getting blown the frick out repeatedly.

All of these things were planned before the season. We would have done those things if we were fricking zero and whatever going into those games.

We hyped our team, sure. Was it comparable to the hype machine y'all generated for an 8-5 team that was arguably no better than 8th or 9th in the conference? Not really.

Actually we started at #11
This whole "number 4 preseason ranking lol" argument that gets thrown around on this board needs to fricking die. It's not even true. We rose to number 4 in a few weeks because a lot of top 10 teams lost early that year.
