From everything that has come out on this kid I get the impression he would rather play at Alabama, but wants to start sooner. Obviously he can't have it both ways.

no argument here. not a fan of his style. he's always slow on the play and he over-exaggerates the average while not being enthusiastic enough about the exceptional. His call on Trent's TD run against Ole Miss (one of the best plays of the year) was just meh. But he calls a 4 yard run like this:

This. He has an iconic voice, sure, but I remember back in the Alexander days I was listening to a game, and he made it sound like Shaun had an outstanding run. Then he comes back, "Alright its second and 12 for the tide, lets see what they have in store for the defense this time."
