Ha ha

I happen to be in the minority with regards to Yeldon, a lot of people think he is in a successful system as a cog and not that good, I am the opposite. I think he is a lot better than that system can show, very similar style to Darren McFadden in a power run system would be a monster IMHO

Another pro Bama on Yeldon from TOS --

quote:

One of my good friends was a high school teammate of yeldon's and their fathers know one another very well. He just told me that his dad personally talked to Yeldon and his father and said that bama is a done deal, only that its supposed to be a secret...TIFWIW, but consider this the most the most reliable source you're going to hear from regarding yeldon's recruitment!

Not sure at all how reliable this particular poster is but this is really getting comical

Hell no, I want Yeldon worse than any of their lb's

Scoreboards say otherwise. How many 40+ games did your defense cough up this season?

One back may be great, but one back can't score 40 a game.

That's why we're also recruiting a DC.

Don't give a shite. Bama linebackers are more like our d ends. Kwon, Javy, and Cassanova will be good enough haul so I'll take Yeldon.

Next DC, Stoops I assume? might not want small LBs, AU has gotten some great talent at LB the last few years and seemingly all have become DEs

Who has become an end other than Owens? Owens just couldn't pick up being a linebacker so we put his hand in the dirt where he feels comfortable.

The only small linebacker of those three is Javy. Kwon has the frame to be a solid sized linebacker and Cassanova is 230ish already which is plenty big for the 4-3.

No they weren't. He was garbage, you should see some of the comments from our players ever since Chizik took over the defense.

Makes me wonder wtf went on at practice every day.

My brother in law has been best friends with Yeldon's dad since third grade. He was talking to him earlier today and Yeldon's dad told him that they have grown tired of people asking if Yeldon is going to back out of his commitment and it is pretty much a slap in the face to suggest that his son is a liar. They recently started telling these people that he was going to flip to Bama just to frick with them. He said it was especially funny when you tell them that it is supposed to be a secret.

TIFWIW, but this is like the most rock solid source that you will find on the internet.

Heard that too total BS kid is really torn, he wouldn't be lying to Bama coaches, best friend and teammate for 6 years and "fricking" with anybody about where he is attending school the next 4 years, he is anything but rock solid, the reason so much is coming out either way for both teams is because how extremely quiet he and his family is being no word until he chooses and signs his LOI with either AU or Bama, until then everything else is speculation

I just don't see how the kid could keep lying to the Auburn coaches. He keeps telling everyone publicly he is still firmly committed to Auburn.

But hey what do I know? He may be trolling us.

Only reports anyone has said is talking to coaches etc very vauge, no one knows I'm telling you until he signs LOI and enrolls, I don't think as many people PAID to provide info about Bama targets and recruiting info would all be saying he will flip and Bama leads last they hear JMHO

There was an interview after all these rumors started to come out where TJ said he's still solid to AU. He hasn't said it publicly since Malzahn left but his high school coaches came out and said TJ told them to say he's still solid to AU even if Malzahn isnt there. That is about as concrete of info as you're gonna get in recruiting besides him enrolling or signing a LOI

And furthermore lol the last 2 years on TOS the SAME writers (or it was the same last year) were EXTREMELY cautious about the signings and who Bama would land etc, and wild claims like Crowell to Bama etc were shot down or met with realistic picture of who we would land, this year it is believed as well by the people that are PAID for info that Bama lands TJ, JW, the whole group of 9 or whatever Bama is believed by them to be in the lead for and they aren't paid and have no previous example of being that optimistic without having damn good sources leading them to that conclusion and are paid to paint a.realistic picture, could they be wrong? Sure it is recruiting, but right now there is too much smoke and too many people getting this same impression to say it is dead and he is rock solid to AU.

What I meant also since an OV to Bama with his best friend Ryno, a Bama commit, he has seen and Hung out with Ryno I GUARANTEE you WAYYY more than any HS coach since then l, connect the dots, at this point of the year I have been following recruiting so long I have learned to take ANYTHING a HS coach says about a kid at this stage with a HUGE grain of salt because bottom line is they aren't around them NEARLY as much right now
