I remember when you can look at a school pull in the 10th class and legitimately think they were building towards a national championship. Thats really not the case anymore. Georgia is 3rd and OU is 10th, the difference in their scores is nearly identical to that of OU and Kansas State

If you took a kid who had A&Ms and Bamas average rank and put them in OUs class, theyd be their 3rd (A&M) and 2nd (Bama) ranked commit

How have we gotten here? It seems like it gets worse and worse and the only true hope a school has now at winning a championship is to recruit at this top 3 level across multiple years

I think the expanded playoff will help some with this. More schools with truly meaningful games at the end of the season will help.

Expect the SEC to continue to dominate the playoffs. Sure, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, or USC might make some noise occasionally, but the SEC will be loaded from top to bottom.

CFB has always been like this: if you can stay in that 10-15 range and score a truly elite QB then you have a chance. Otherwise it’s like it’s always been we’re only a small handful of teams have a legitimate shot and it’s always the same teams.

There is only one way to fix this and it will never happen. A draft or salary cap of some sort

Bro did I just see that aTm is leading with the top four 5 star players who didn’t sign today?

Are y’all about to sign by far the best class of all time?

if you add up the kids who we believe would choose A&M today then yes, wed have the greatest class of all time. but a good three of those kids arent signing until february and unfortunately thats an eternity in the recruiting universe

Still, adding any of them is icing on a really nice cake at this point.

Right on my man
