They got a pretty solid recruiting class. 14 of the 19 committed players are rated 4-star or higher by at least one of the recruiting services. A&M would have the equivalent of a Top 10 recruiting class if you could include transfers. The problem is that this may not be good enough for the SEC West.

Transfers with position and highest rating. ESPN just did an article rating the top 10 impact transfers in the NCAA. They listed Knight and Willis in the top 10 and Ford as an honorable mention.

Sumlin dropped ball on greedy Williams. They should've offered both brothers early on. I saw where some aggie fans said greedy wasn't a top player and I absolutely disagree. He will challenge the higher ranked db's early on. Long rangy player who is underrated imo. His bro is a twin so maybe he develops into a solid option as well. How they couldn't make it interesting is beyond me.

Greedy was absolutely a top player on Chavis' board. I don't know if his brother was going to get an offer. Sumlin doesn't like "package" deals. He was probably going to offer him a "preferred walk-on" spot. The loss of Greedy and Fulton's canceled visit forced the staff to go offer Eric Cuffee, but he was committing to tu after being rejected previously by this staff. Jeff Banks is flying out to CA to try and get Jack Jones. He will probably line-up at WR and DB, if he chooses A&M.
