God bless Texas for fricking themselves and helping pay for Jimbo's buyout.
How is taking the single greatest coach in aggie athletics history "fricking themselves"? Genuinely curious

You realize that the buyout for Alberts at Nebraska, the guy that fumbled the best coach in school history, was larger than the one for Schlossnagle to leave, right?

Dude, go to a Texas recruting thread. Dont be pissed at us because A&M outsmarted the CDC and Schloss coup. That is life.

Move on to what Schloss needs to do for your school to be competitive in SEC baseball next year. The players were the key to our success. Definitely not Schloss. Special group of really talented players that are very committed to the school and team. Very rare to see.

MLB draft?

Braden Montgomery - YES 100%
Ryan Prager - POSSIBLE HE COMES BACK
Chris Cortez - POSSIBLE HE COMES BACK

Ali Camarillo? - LIKELY HE COMES BACK BUT IF SO, KENT MAY BOLT AS WORD IS HE WANTS TO BE SS.

So Kent is the biggest unknown and a potential big piece of the lineup.

He gone! And he should be gone. He could be in the bigs this calendar year if all goes perfectly.

Pretty awesome we got Kent back. If pitching works out, we could be better next year than we were this year.

At this point, we could use a pitcher or two, and we need Appel back or we need to find a catcher in the portal.

If Cortez comes back, his advisors should be fired. I would love it sure but he’s too good and needs to start the MLB journey now.

With that said, I absolutely do understand the mentality of putting off the real world as long as possible ala Schott.

Ryan Brauninger
@R_Brauninger
Former USC catcher Jacob Galloway has announced his commitment to Texas A&M on Instagram.

This is some kind of roll for Mike Earley, Jason Kelly, Caleb Longley, and Will Fox. I don’t know that I’ve seen anything like it in the transfer portal era.

It unbelievable how well this has gone. I do expect to be preseason #1. I hope we can live up to that.

1. Kent - SS (ops 1.175 - in fewer at bats)
2. Henseler - 2B (ops 1.479)
3. Laviolette - CF (ops 1.189)
4. Grahovac - 3B (ops .987)
5. Sorrell- LF (ops .905)
6. Kash - RF (ops .926)
7. Bergevin- 1B (ops 1.0)
8. Schott - DH (ops .923)
9. Galloway - C (ops .926, late in the year)

I wish I could find last year's OP+ for each of those guys, but it's very, very good.

Now we need to add that Washington pitcher and get Prager and Ash back for one more year.

(Braden was 1.187 last year)

I did some searching, and this could be mistaken, but I think every guy in that lineup has an OPS north of .800, many over 1.0.

Was hoping Kemp would come to LSU. Aggies keeping almost all of that killer roster. Going to be hard to beat next year. Aggies are the 2022 Vols of college baseball.
