Secondly, maybe you had a glamorous offense this year, but A&M still hasn't put any wide receivers in the NFL in over 5 years, as in guys who actually still remain in the NFL while LSU has had Bowe, Davis, LaFell, Randle, and Doucet, who all remain on NFL rosters besides Davis.
Doesn't change the fact that LSU's offense--particularly as of late--makes it harder for a WR to go pro. Of course supremely talented guys will make the league, regardless of offense. That Mike Sherman and Fran didn't sign NFL caliber players is about the most irrelevant aspect of Speedy's recruitment.

Also, that offense still only has 1 year under its belt and you could argue that Manziel is the reason it even works at all.
No you can't. Another QB's lack of opportunity to run our O says nothing about whether it works without Manziel. This point is slightly worse than the one above.

LSU's offense will only get better and that should enhance their attraction even more. Its funny the destroyed A&M in WR recruiting almost every year except this year even though they've had an inept passing game for 4 straight years.
Congrats on destroying Mike Sherman and Dennis Franchione in WR recruiting. Unfortunately for you, neither coach TAMU anymore. Fortunately for me, the guy who does signed the best WR class in the country last year.

How does it make it harder? Which A&M receiver was drafted in the last 4 years again?

This is a joke and not worth arguing.

Ryan swope was drafted this draft? Had he not had concussion issues, he was projecting second rd. our best WR previously Jeff fuller had a total meltdown his senior year or he would have been drafted high. Our offense especially passing has been improving ever year since like 2000...
So no, there isn't a long tradition of great nfl receivers at A&M, but you only play forr 3-4 years anyway... Some kids want to build their own legacy, and some kids care more about what they'll actually get to do, other than whether or not some guy they don't know got drafted there 2 coaches ago...

Jesus.
Your passing offense is inept; it's led by a crappy QB and operated by an also-ran NFL coach. That's why it's an impediment to the league rather than a pathway. Are certain guys so good that it doesn't really matter? Yes, certain guys possess such ability that it doesn't matter where or with whom they play. They'll get drafted despite their surroundings.
LSU has gotten guys drafted lately because they signed supreme talents--guys who would thrive almost anywhere. They didn't develop dudes into bona fide NFL prospects. You don't go to LSU to become an NFL WR. What a silly idea.

The proficiency of the passing O is irrelevant. It means nothing with regard to getting WRs to the league.
That's what LSU fans want you to believe.

eye popping stats dont always = higher draft picks

I loved that Case Keenum went first overall. Hard to believe Tommy Chang fell to 2nd a few years back.

Good analogy... Past Mid major qb's argument against Future SEC receivers. We'll see who puts more receivers in the league for the next 5 years.
Air raid discounts QB stats, but if a WR is good it gives them a chance to show it... Ask Michael Crabtree, dez Bryant, Justin Blackmon, Stedman bailey, tavon Austin, Ryan swipe, mike Evans etc...
All coached under Sumlin or his coaching tree...
Lsu has had great WR's and let them rot. Thank God they were still able to get drafted most of the time....

To be sure.
But it can't be said that playing in a poor passing offense is good for your prospects.

It's funny that an A&M fan is all giddy about Noil and bashing Dupre. I wonder why...

Because I know most of you (LSU posters) on this site are just getting used to their first computer, and are easy to rustle.

Oh woops, I forgot about your 6th rounder that might make a practice squad.
