Grades is what is being reported. He was out with Mett and brooks the night before he was given his walking papers and was real upset.

Well that makes more sense. You have to be legitimately retarded or incredibly lazy to flunk out as a scholarship football player. If I received half the help they got when I was in undergrad I would have graduated with a 4.0 easily.

So of you (not all) LSU fans think they are in a recruiting battle with Western Kentucky or something. That there is no way Alabama can get a bunch of highly ranked guys. Especially from LA. There is not a whole lot that one school can offer that the other cant until you get down to location and/or scheme.

I don't think he flunked out. He definitely would have been ineligible to play in the bowl game if he wasn't redshirting, but he still would have had the Spring and Summer semesters to get right before next season.
I'm pretty sure it was a combination of grades, attitude, and not being able to handle what is expected.

Wait, did Bama fans blame the regular season loss on Saban's conservative play calling?
I am pretty sure the few 2012 recruits that are truly choosing between UGA and Bama are almost all going to come down to depth chart. 2013 recruits- I think will come down to next year's record and possible coaching changes. Although with so many graduating from UGA's D after 2012, the 2013 depth chart is going to be wide open.
