The one area I see Alabama possibly having the advantage is that LSU has more success developing CBs than Safeties. Alabama can point out the recent success of Mark Barron and Robert Lester.
Landry and chad Jones?
McCray, Steltz, Reid, and Taylor(former CB)
We develop DB's. Both schools do. Between us there are about 15 guys that will play in the NFL one day.

Bama fans. What are you're thoughts on Kwon Alexander?
They don't have room for him with so many LBs committed. He's either Auburn, FSU, or LSU. AU leads supposedly

I thought Oregon was still in it too?
I think he's an AU lock tho.

Reid looks like he may turn out to be a decent player.

I'm not really worried about it, both choices get great players all the time. Collins won't drastically change anything, him picking Bama over LSU or LSU over Bama won't make either any less of a Championship contender. It's not a knock on him as a player, it's just that both programs are too built up to have a "program changer" type recruit. Unless you believe Gino, then Texas and LSU are his final 2
I do get a chuckle from the rantards that aren't screwing around in the LC thread...

Landry was a true freshman starting safety under Saban. Only helps Alabama's chances IMO.

Small, fast LB who is gonna need 2-3 years before he should step on the field in a starting role.
He's got to get over the injury hope, shape his body to fit the college game, and then learn how to play coverage. Once he gets all that down, he should be a pretty damn good 43 LB.

Drafted under Miles
2 years for Saban and 2 for Miles. I don't think anyone has an edge there.

Oh Gino
He's a good guy, but goes off on every rumor he hears or reads.

Zero years under Ron Cooper, Bama wins

Collins should be looking at early playing time. Don't know who that benefits the most though.

Neither
We lose Taylor and you lose Barron.
We have his former teammate to play next to though. Loston just doesn't seem to be what we like at S. great off the bench though.

Loston could be a good LB for LSU, I would think...
LSU seems to make the right switches from S to LB, aside from Hatcher, who sucks at every position.

Loston needs to quit tackling with his head.

Like I asked 3 pages ago. Do any of you think Collins will return kicks, more specifically punts. I think he will and that opportunity is obviously better at Bama.

Bama has their returner in Belue, from what I've read.
