There is a whole article on the Rivals site that was a Geno Q and A about the recruits but it is premium info. Im not a member on there so I couldnt look at it.

Dude. Geno smith has run his mouth all year and been wrong 90.% of the time. Remember when he was looking at AU and said the ND Cb commit was going to roll with him on the plains? Auburn fans went gaga. He's about as reliable as bleacher report

I honestly think he guesses at a lot of stuff. and, again, I think he's guessing with LC as well.
In the video today, he says clearly says it's his gut feeling.

I was just talking about his interview today when he was asked about some other prospects. Geno said in the interview that LC's gf will be going to be Bama. I'm guessing he heard that from LC, I don't know, but he did say he had talked to him so he just guessed on where he would go based on the feeling he got from their conversation.

When did they start doing "Certificates of admissions"? Is that new or something they only do for the girlfriends of prized recruits?

Man, what a knee to the nads that would be if LC chooses Alabama. I would understand this so much more if he were a linebacker. 
I am definitely sweating this one out, but I remember the Reuben Randle recruitment was a roller coaster too...

Either way, I just don't understand how an entire group of people can take choosing the school of another state so personally. The things I've read on the LSU recruiting board about how people are planning to treat him if he chooses Alabama... or when Alabama fans do the same to players in state is just idiotic.
I think we've all been in situations where we have felt pressure to do something because everyone wants us to do it, and for whatever reason, we want a different experience. Deciding that the only reason he would go somewhere is or isn't because of his girlfriend, or whatever is ridiculous. And then judging him because of the decisions he made for his life is equally ridiculous.
He's the one who has to live his life... not any of us. He's allowed to make his own mistakes or try to have successes. I wish him the best whatever he decides... and the same for Jameis Winston.

thats what they send you with your acceptance letter. i got mine the summer before senior year, back in '02, so they've been doing it for a long time. that thing was my ticket to be a lazy bastard senior year
