Game on, ol baw!

Dawgs and Tide competing for another top LB at the Gators expense.

Can’t say I don’t love to see it

Agreed. I like our chances with him at the moment but pulling a mobile kid away from Bama is something that doesn’t happen with regularity

FWIW he just visited UGA for Kentucky as well. He has been to both Athens and T-Town a lot lately

How does he compare to Mondon and Sorey. Those two are redshirts and it seems to be an overlapping among the three.

Seems to be closer to Mondon than Sorey. Sorey I’d wager will end up an OLB for us with his length whereas Mondon will be a unicorn a la Tindall or Quay Walker who can play ILB in coverage and blitz effectively. Both are slightly bigger and faster than James but only slightly

I remember people saying no kid from Oxford, Al was a UGA lock either. Well guess what he was and UGA landing 5* Clay Webb has had devastating consequences on the Bam a program

Yeah that loss has been devastating for Bama... ... That said, he still posing in his teammates water bottles?

In fairness when he signed with us you would have thought it was a devastating blow. And you would have thought he was going to single handedly save ours according to some of our fans. I mean, there are big hits and big misses all the time.

Honest to goodness? If one of my teammates had been stealing my water bottles and drinking them after practice (or any other time for that matter) I might have done the same.

And, for the record, I am pretty sure he did it in his own water bottle because he knew the kid had been drinking from it.

Saturday Down South

Not exactly as I understood it, but not too far off, either. The kid was drinking from a Powerade bottle that he knew was not his own.

You wont ever see me getting worked up over losing a 6'1" OG. A legit 5* OT is a different story

That is what the article said, too, so I suspect you are correct. Would I have done it? nope. But a high school kid?

And who walks up and starts drinking out of a bottle without knowing whose it is?

One kid (apparently) even told him not to drink out of it and he did anyway. Sounds like a real rocket scientist.

In fairness we really thought he was going to be good and was very excited. I also suspect a lot of our fans ran around acting like crazy people. I love to get highly ranked kids, but every year some miss big time.

It is what it is.
