Auburn and Bama guys, what's the deal with this kid? Is he gonna play college ball in Alabama? His film looks really good. Just wondering since I've read Craig has major pull in the Mobile area and he was his lead recruiter at Auburn. Any opinions on LSU's chances if Craig and Orgeron go after him?

Dameyune Craig doesn't have "major" pull in mobile. The only big name guy he's gotten out of mobile that didn't go to Alabama was Chris Casher and he was a dud. Auburn got Tre Williams (waiting to see if he's worth a shite, may be similar to Casher), Nick Fairley (not big time coming out), and maybe a couple low ranking guys. All others go to Alabama. Mccarron, Mosley, Fowler, Barron, and others. Basically if they go to St.Paul's, Vigor, McGill-Toolen, Davidson, UMS-Wright, Blount, Leflore, Murphy, Theodore, and Saraland they are going to Alabama if bama wants them. That's just mobile. The real honey pot is in Daphne, Spanish Fort, and Foley. Some fricking ballers come out of there. Pat White, Yeldon, and Ryan Anderson from Daphne. Julio Jones, Robert Lester, and DJ Fluker from Foley. Then a lot of big name guys will come out of Spanish Fort as well. They haven't had that one big name yet. Reese Dismukes is the biggest one they've had but they've had a lot of 3 stars.

I see one guy that anyone outside the state of Alabama would recognize and he wasn't from Mobile.

A good majority of those guys are still playing. At any rate, Alabama offered the majority of those guys, so clearly Craig has some pull. It's not like everyone was calling that a home run hire for his WR coaching prowess.

Jason Smith was like a 3 star and bama didn't offer. Craig had nothing to do with him. Montgomery and bham are about 4-5 hours away from mobile. The topic at hand was mobile area Justin Thornton was a 4 star out of vigor. But what has he done? Craig had nothing to do with him. He also had nothing to do with Tre Williams.

Smith was a 4* in HS and JUCO, and Bama did offer out of HS. Everybody knew he was resigning with AU out of JUCO.
