Looks like Mullen is bringing in some experience to help with the young but talented DL next year. Could be a good get for us.

He seemed to be taking a lot of visits to both our schools which worried me earlier on

This was why I questioned it... Because last week, he scheduled an OV to Texas, and it is widely known that we don't accept public commitments from players who are still taking additional ovs.
Chances are good that even if he told the staff he wants to be a Bulldog, we won't hear about it definitively until after next weekend. If we hear it sooner or if he cancels his trip to Austin, we will know. All signs have pointed to him being a Bulldog for awhile now, but he's been very, very thorough in taking all his official visits and a crapload of unofficials all over the southeast...
We don't have an issue with guys taking visits, we just ask that they not commit until they are done with them. This is what happened with Richie and Beniquez Brown last year who were both privately locked up for at least a month, just waited till nsd to make public...

I agree with the op. He's ours as of now but I also agree with engie, announcement could be after UT visit

Man, we needed him! We need Damontre Moore back now, but that will be difficult when you are a projected top 10 pick in the draft.

Damontre Moore is a stud. I'm sure Zadarius is a fine JUCO player and I certainly hope we get him but I would be shocked if he was anywhere near the level of player Moore is if you were hoping Smith would replace Moore.

I'm not sure Sumlin is even recruiting him anymore. Class is almost full.

If anyone says we want him to replace moore its just that we need someone to step in to fill the spot. I dont think that anyone thinks he will be as good as Damonster

Has there been any more news on his comittment. The title of this thread is a bit misleading
