It wasn't a hat fake per se. He was picking up each hat saying something like "or should I go to X?" and when he picked our hat up everyone in attendance laughed

Need to bump this thread because there is a strong rumor MA wants to transfer to AU. Not sure if Auburn's coaches take him. (Based on how we finish recruiting)

What did he get arrested for?

The same thing Corey Grant was arrested for, before transferring to Auburn.

Saban will put in a call to Dabo and make sure Auburn is one of the schools they will not release him for.

Joey...Spurrier is a HC who doesn't put up with foolishness that is an embarrassment to the school. If you look at the list you linked to...most of it is garden variety underage drinking, pot possession etc etc Anything serious and Spurrier will be down on player like white on rice. A lot of those arrests have a flipside to its story and the player has charges dropped or downsized. Not saying that there weren't bad apples at USC....every school gets some of those (except Vandy).

If Alexander transfers will he have to give back the bag of money to Clemson? That's probably what is holding up his release? He is from the area around the Everglades and citrus fields/sugar cane/agriculture are the main employer. Very poor folks in some areas and football is a ticket out...hope he takes advantage of it.

Already committed to us once.

This kid's recruitment was one of the most back and forth I can ever remember. This news is hardly surprising.

Good call.

It's not like his starting QB got arrested 3 times or anything.

Gee...he was suspended I think twice? Kicked off the team? Did you want solitary confinement with bread and water? Get real. You don't know all the facts behind his problems and either do I...only difference is I don't pretend to.

Lulz

Yeah man. Garcia was a stand up gentleman. Never brought embarrassment to his team. Like you said. Spurrier doesn't put up with embarrassments.

why are you so defensive about this little joke? Auburn has a reputation for taking players who were arrested and kicked off their teams. You need to embrace it, 2 of those guys were QB's that led your team to SECCG's.

Yea half of those players were recruited by Holtz and there hasn't been an arrest in over a year.

Meanwhile Auburn's last 2 SEC championship teams were lead by QBs that were arrested and kicked off of teams from the SEC east
