With the benefit of hindsight and knowin the 2009 team was the backbone of the 2010 champs, I guess you could say that... IMO this current team has more potential than that 09 group. Better overall roster depth, deeper at RB, a solid two-deep at each OL position... In 09 we didn't even have enough scholly players for a 2nd string OL.

Considering that our defense was more solid when it mattered than good in 2010, that isn't saying much. On offense, that is true
This year, we are starting to see better coaching meet higher talent than the 2009 team though. Outside of LB, we have some kids who can ball on defense and offense and they finally are putting it together. It will be rough and they will mistakes but our team is better than 2009. Ben Tate may be the only thing keeping them in the game
