sad these kids handle this kind of stuff the way they do. I blame the media for most of it and the society we live in..

Uncle Rico is a Hawks fan?

Seriously that guy is beyond overhyped.

I think I read where he's one of the "top defensive minds in college football."

Fuk that person for making me spew my drink all over my computer.

Never said this, in fact I said this.

He may also choose to play for Bama, or UGA by signing day.

By the way there were a few on both sides who said it would happen. In fact Dixiemafia said it and I thought he was playing AU fans. I have said before the only players I get excited about, are the ones who sent in signed LOI's to AU coaches.

I appreciate that. And, yeah, it's all about perspective. Just not taking some bad news very well. And, to keep this on topic, I laughed my arse off at the statement and want to know who had that idea.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career. I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January. I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I’m excited to get started.”

Yeldon's statement

Over the last few weeks I've really put a lot of thought and time into where I will play football," Foster said at a press conference at his high school. "I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get in all the work I need to do for high school and to get better for college both academically and athletically. I am going to enroll at Auburn University
I have a lot of respect for Alabama and the coaches and all of the other people and fans," Foster said. "At the end of the day, I feel Auburn University is the place for me and my family and I am 100 percent confident in my final decision. I feel great about my decision and I'm excited to get started

Yea BVG has such a track record of getting defensive players first round money. One call by BVG to an NFL coach and it is a done deal.

Saban got Kareem fricking Jackson into the first round. That kid couldn't cover a turtle in the NFL but the Saban bump moved him from 4th round to 1st.

Can appreciate Wooly Al's racism, but I was correct. Farrell is clueless. Bo and Reuben are not related.

Congrats to Auburn.

However, I do find it funny that if the EXACT same thing had happened with Foster except he was committed to Auburn for several months before moving to Tuscaloosa and weeks later switched his commitment from Auburn to Alabama, Auburn fans wouldn't be flipping out about the REC buying him and putting him up in Tuscaloosa, blah, blah, blah. Literally every single big recruit that Auburn loses to Alabama is because the REC bought them even when they had been committed to Alabama for many many months (Callaway, Kouindjo, etc). Funny how you rarely see that from Alabama fans towards Auburn.

The last part of Yeldon's statement is the same as the words only words Foster spoke today.

Yeldon’s statement:

"Over the last few weeks, I've really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career," Yeldon said in the statement. "I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

"I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January.

"I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I'm excited to get started."

Foster’s statement today:

“At the end of the day, I feel like Auburn is the best situation for me and my family,” Foster told reporters at his press conference. “I am 100-percent confident in my family decision.”
