Yep I think they do it too which would put us at #2. No idea why he thinks FSU will finish #2.

They are really far behind.

I expect the Longhorns to finish with a Top 15 class, and may even knock on the door of a Top 10 class.

No.

They are 34th. Even if they sweep every single target (Hudson, Jones, Smith, McCullough, Daniels, etc.) their ceiling is 14th.

With the latest news that we might be back in the lead for Demetris Robertson, I'd say we have a good chance to be top 5.

You do realize, if Alabama wants to pass LSU, they'll have to get at least 7 4* recruits just on signing day. LSU is already expecting 3 at the very least. Alabama has no chance to land the #1 class

If he goes to LSU, LSU easily finishes with the #2 class, and could vie for the #1 spot with Bama.

You are dumb, I'm sorry. Alabama is going to finish strong of course but if they wanted to get to #1 they would literally have to sign 10 4* recruits to even tie LSU on NSD. It's a long shot

That's really not possible. 17 4*s > 9 4*s. They have too far to go and it's not going to happen in just 1 day

B. Ignorant

Didn't post it, but it clearly was an opinion. Provide an alternate theory? Not saying right or wrong, but wouldn't call it full troll... maybe a lil' bit though.

FL was in a POSITION to get him

LINK

Article from one of the most respected reporters that cover the Gators. When he says that Florida will flip Cleveland, he has someone telling him it's true.

Look at the quotes from Cleveland. The writing is on the wall. He'll be a Gator

I wouldn't say upset, but it shouldn't even be a contest. 24/7 and every site negatively rank recruits that verbally commit well in advance or create little to no drama in their recruitment. They get more clicks, subscribers, ect from the influx of drama caused by many national recruits. You see time and again recruits that excell at events and camps get dropped for one that would lead to "a more exciting NSD."

Call it what you want, but I'll call it BS. LSU should have at least 4 or 5 5 stars ATM with a chance to add a sixth. Either way though, their star ranking won't effect their on field play.

Just so I understand correctly....

We should not pay any attention to the recruiting services that rank players for a living....but we should listen to your rankings?

I am just here for the entertainment. I could care less, but we have two schools claiming they are going to finish MUCH higher than Kyle said they would and BOTH partially based it off getting Fulton.

How many more commits can FSU take? I honestly don't know.

Either way....if you finish top 5 you are in prime position. It's NORMALLY packed fairly tight in the top 5. I would say there is enough room for rankings to be wrong that any of the top 5 could probably have the actual best class.

Ok

1. I didn't rank them
2. 24/7 dropped commits that committed early, and I'm not just talking about LSU commits. It happens every year.

It's pretty obvious they don't get as many clicks for non-drama come NSD. Analysts will even tell you that it's a messy part of the recruiting service business. Bottom line is the companies lose money, support, and interest if they don't make the rankings fluid.

Also Fulton is only one piece left for LSU.

But please keep going.

Did you not just say that we shouldn't pay attention to the rating services because the drop players that sign early? Then said that your team would sign players that should be rated higher? (That is your opinion)

One thing you seem to be forgetting, though. If several of your guys should be rated higher, then shouldn't several players from other teams be rated higher? Doesn't it kind of even out?

I actually like LSU, but sometimes you guys come off as very arrogant. Like nobody else on the board knows anything about football.

When Chavis left you got an upgrade with Steele. now that Steele has left you are relieved...because you now have an upgrade over Steele.
And lets not forget that Cameron was the exact missing piece you needed to jump start the offense.
And it goes on and on.

You guys have a great team and will probably be the favorites to win the SEC in 2017. But a little humility would be nice. If you get the #1 class.....GREAT! If you don't, it really isn't something to get bent out of shape over.

Except he doesn't say that Florida WILL flip Cleveland. That was my original point. Being in a POSITION to flip =/= flip. Anyone still in the running with him is in a POSITION to flip him.

Granted, he has some very nice things to say about FL so you'll probably be right. We don't get players like that very often.

I'm looking through FSU's targets and dont see how they make up the difference to leap us. They need us to miss on Fulton and land Mullen (which we obviously miss on Mullen). We are 22 points ahead (which is a pretty large lead). Those 2 guys alone FSU would have to get getting pretty crazy to make up that kind of difference. Doesnt seem like FSU will land more than 2 (mayybbeee 3) or Top 100 type guys to close out. LSU will land 2 as well.

#1 Alabama- currently #7 but should have a very strong finish
#3 LSU- currently #1, but it could be a relatively quiet Signing Day
#4 Ole Miss- holding steady
#7 Georgia- Currently #8. Should be a good finish. Best class in the East.
#9 Auburn- Currently #11. They'll land a few good ones.
#15 Florida- Currently #6. All's quiet in Gainesville.
#20 Texas A&M- Currently #17
#21 Tennessee- What happend to Butch's recruiting abilities?
#27 Arkansas- Currently #22. Typical Hog recruiting class.
#30 Mississippi State- Currently #44. They'll move up quite a bit, but still worst class in the West.

-----

Outside the SEC, it looks like Florida State will have a very strong finish. I think they'll narrowly pass LSU for the #2 class. And don't be shocked if the 'Noles end up with the #1 overall class, just ahead of Bama.

Ohio State and Michigan will battle it out for the #5 class. I expect Ohio State to finish #5, Michigan #6.

Clemson still has a lot of room left in their class. They ought to finish #8 or #9.

Look out for Texas. They started slow, but added another 4-star last night. They are in position to add another 6-8 kids who are 4-star or better. I expect the Longhorns to finish with a Top 15 class, and may even knock on the door of a Top 10 class.

I'd say I was pretty spot on with these projections that were posted 5 days before Signing Day.

I nailed the final rankings for Alabama (#1), LSU (#3), Georgia (#7), and Auburn (#9).

I was 1 spot off on Mississippi State
I was 2 spots off on Ole Miss
I was 2 spots off on Florida
I was 2 spots off on Texas A&M
I was 2 spots off on Arkansas

The only team I missed on was Tennessee. Predicted them to finish #21 and they ended up #14.

Of course I forgot to predict anything about South Carolina. I purposely left out any prognostications for Kentucky, Missouri, and Vanderbilt.
