I agree too early. I am eager between Herman vs Fisher in state this year
aggy has some issues...
They are going to try to go out West like Herman and Texas did...
A lot of the people on the West Coast have ties to Texas and Louisiana....
But I think aggy would be better served to get these players to commit before they visit.
These West Coast players will play in ATX or BR but not Collie Station.
Only other option is Jimbo use his ties to Florida and Georgia.

Florida won't finish top 3 until services start equalizing with a Florida bump. We consistently finish with about 2 players every year that are the top 5-10 4-stars and the composite weights 5-stars incredibly heavily.
If we land Bowman (should be 5 star) and Manual (should stay 5 star), it will be a matter of Beck getting a 5th star, etc.
I will say, this is the strongest in-state recruiting has been in pro-Florida territory in years and our program is on the upswing. As long as we finish in the top 10, I know we'll be able to compete.

No, you just need to sign more better players

There's no difference between a .988 and a .991 or whatever the frick they make the cutoff. When we perform on the field, our recruits will find themselves on the other side of that line and rankings will adjust accordingly.

Can you provide a list of signed recruits from previous classes that should have been 5 stars but missed the cut?
Also, where did you get this idea that there is a bigger difference in the composite between .988 and .991 than there is with .985 and .988?

Tony Clayton (bust) and Chris Steel are 2 immediate names that come to mind.
The composite formula, not the 247 rankings, puts extra weight on classes having 5 stars. They don't just add up and average the points.

If you think there is no difference between someone like Derek Stingley and someone like Chris Steele I can’t help you

That’s it? Do you think UF is the only team that signs guys right outside 5 star status?

But by how much? Got a link?

Nobody mentioned Derek Stingley. There can be more than 1 5-star CB.

Long way to go before hay in the barn for Max Johnson. Should UGA decide to make him a priority, they could get back in it - Johnson’s HS is about 20miles from UGA campus.

No but you meantioned there being no difference between a .998 (Derek Stingley as an example) and other high 5 stars. Stingley is a generational talent. Some of the other guys are just really good

I got very confused when I saw Myles Murphy on your list. Turns out there are two of them for 2020

LSU has a better chance at Milton than UGA, and Rakim Jarret probably goes to Ohio State. Reese will be a tight race. Y’all may have some big battles with Ohio State this cycle.
