RockyMtn,

If this graphic is meant to riff off the five stages of grief then where I'm at is the acceptance that he'll flip on NSD to Alabama will happen. :P

That's what I said. Did you read my comment under it? I stole that from twitter and wasn't going to change the graphic

And right now that is what they are, verbal. For both Bama and Auburn.

However this wasn’t some last minute decision, etc for Thompson. KJ Bolden said in his interview Perry told him a while back he was going to flip to Auburn.

Perry also said Bama was his first “big” offer and that’s why he took it. Now he has choices, and obviously Bama’s not his choice any longer.

It is concerning that people seemingly lose sleep over where a high school senior wants to go to college. Gotta keep it in context. I think he's probably going to vacillate. I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat about it.

Not one of those guys with hate in my heart for Auburn. I don't understand how people who grew up in our state can really be like that. You didn't have family or friends who rooted for the other team? I just want to win on that Saturday after Thanksgiving and whenever we play in the other sports. We don't have to act like Finebaum callers about it.

All commits are verbal until signing. Who's next to flip?. And if they are signed they can resign the next year. We Comin. Got to be young and energetic to play this game. Hugh gets it.

I agree. True story. My wife and i was looking at some property on Weiss Lake in N. Alabama. We wne to a workout facility owned and operated by a local church in Centre, and they said the big rule they have there is no talking about Alabama/Auburn football because so many arguments break out. It's a good rivalry, but I agree. I want Georgia to win badly, but I have friends who are Auburn, Florida and Alabama fans and we get along fine. We are usually careful about what we say, but everything is good.

I worry I might have already gone to the light, after so many years in the recruiting desert, this does not feel real.

Got to enjoy it while it lasts, because nothing lasts forever. If Freeze keeps it up Auburn could be on the way back.

A commitment in July means nothing. Just like his previous commitment to Alabama ment nothing.
Responds to the stages of grief graphic with the actual stage of grief he is supposed to be in. This is either rant perfection or a 10/10 subtle troll.

Simply put, most commitments stick. Flips stick out in our brains more, but they just aren't nearly as common as we believe they are. Most guys commit and they are done.

Its even less common that someone flips multiple times, and especially not back to the school they initially flipped from.

Auburn got a good one, and this one hurts because I think our WR room hasn't been up to our recent standards in the past two years.

who knows if they got a good one or not? clearly hes not the brightest bulb, if hes talking about Freeze developing wrs better than Saban, thats just lunacy. Kid had the NIL truck backed up to his house and fell for the usual auburn 'youll have to work too hard at bama' routine. cant blame him, nil is the bird in hand.
