OJ Smith was a better prospect last year than Moton is. I don't have any clue how Moton is a 4 star prospect.

He fits their scheme. He's a space eater and we need penetrators at the line. He had an offer as a sophomore but it was recinded after he didn't play his. JR year. Coaches wanted him to camp and see if he improved.

I am confused.
When Chavis came on as DC, I thought his scheme was to put:
two huge space eating dt's like m Brockers along with
one big strong side DE with
one pass rushing weak side DE
with that being said, his Linebackers are to be thinner, quick LBs that can benefit from the three huge D linemen.
I thought it was Pelini that liked the penetrators etc.

It started to shift with the spread offenses around the league now. Quicker athletic DT's are needed to penetrate and control gaps.
