VT....I'm really not trying to start an argument nor will I engage in one. If you'll notice, I don't post too much. This is something I absolutely know beyond a shadow of doubt. Trust me......it's not something I like saying.

I don't even know if we wanted Moton. If not, then fine. I'm speaking about kids I know we wanted.

I absolutely don't buy that we are recruiting N LA less than other areas. I just don't.

Maybe you're more familiar with that area than I am, but I can't fathom that happening

From what I can remember, the Chief always preferred penetration to space eating. The best example that I can think of was Al Woods. He would have done well on the line in Bama but at LSU he was asked to play on the OL more than once because he wasn't much of a penetrater even though he was pretty good at not allowing RBs to get by him.

Also, Brockers did get very good penetration but I recall that he separated himself from the rest of the pack by never letting any RB get past him while he was penetrating.

In case anyone doesn't know his story. Moton left Calvary (great coaches and football team) to transfer to Woodlawn (not great coaches or football team anymore). He sat out last year because of it.

He went on a recruiting visit to Miss State last year without his family and committed to MSU on the visit. The family was not happy.

Now he has committed to Bama.

Not sure if good or bad for LSU or if it will hold.

As a graduate many years ago, I actually just meant they don't appear to be up to the challenge as of late. I hope things are turning around there. There has been a couple D1 prospects sign last couple of years.
