No the funny thing is him saying Miami is a clean program.

Yeah miami definitely isn’t clean. But they can’t come close to what bama can offer. Thats really what he’s saying.

basically.
What Nebraska offers a player isn't the same as what Oklahoma can. hence Bookie to Oklahoma.
Miami definitely can't/won't pay the amounts LSU, Bama, Clemson, etc will. Just what it is.
Its like minor league compared to the major league as far as bags are concerned. One is getting pizza money, one is getting frick you I'm getting a house money.

Even if your premise is accurate, which I'm not sure it's as accurate as you'd like to believe, that doesn't make it any better. That's like saying one guy cheats on his wife with a woman he takes to Vegas b/c he can afford it. Another guy cheats on his wife with a woman he takes to Biloxi b/c that's all he can afford. The guy who took the chick to Biloxi isn't less guilty of cheating just b/c he couldn't afford more. They both are cheaters.

Who is saying it’s wrong?

He may not go to LSU, but Miami is a distant third for Patrick.

distant? na.
He may very well pick LSU. But Miami isn't distant anything. Immediately after taking his OV to LSU, he went on an UV to Miami and said he wanted to see more.
Theres a reason He's got Richt and the entire defensive staff visiting him at school and doing an in home with him today, then OVing this weekend with his teammates TC, Nesta, and Chatfield (expected to UV) the final weekend before NSD.
Then he and TC are going to be announcing together on ESPN.

I mean I was being sarcastic about the pizza/house thing. The best players max out <$300k. Probably not enough to actually buy a good house. And funnily enough all those times Miami was caught paying players..it quite literally was pizza money - couple hundred for food and shite so the players wouldn't have to go rob people and shite.
Miami literally can't get away with shite. Just last year we had 3 players suspended the entire season for renting luxury cars. Wanna know why they got caught? because broke as college football players that come from the inner city shouldn't be riding around in fricking Range Rovers or fully loaded Challengers.
Both may cheat, but the extent and regularity of the cheating is not even close to the same. To change your metaphor a bit, a guilty serial killer is going to get more time than a guy that's guilty of 2nd degree murder.
Personally I think we should just pay these kids and quit with all the BS about these being "amateurs". I don't think its wrong the players are accepting $100k, a job for their single mom and an apartment with low rent, and a bonus car to go to a certain school. If FSU/UF was offering me that I might choose them over Miami too. No matter how much I love Miami.

Surtain ain't going to Miami he's going to lsu or bama and Miami is a very distant third
Posted on 2/1/18 at 2:30 pm to ImayGoLesMiles
Umm... not what I was told...
Posted on 2/1/18 at 3:16 pm to ImayGoLesMiles
I think you're right but I'll never bet against bama
Posted on 2/1/18 at 4:29 pm to Panthers4life
Um, you were told wrong. Yall have already signed 3 CB's in this class dude. That, including saban just went in-home with another CB this past week in slidell, la (Eddie smith) doesn't look good for Bama with pat surtain jr. It's common sense really. Surtain Jr has been solid to LSU this entire recruiting period, and he hasn't changed his stance on us as his leader. Saban knows that surtain is coming to LSU, and that's why he is going all out to get Eddie smith now. Surtain has family in Louisiana, his dad is from here, and he wants to be part of DBU and coach corey raymond. We can ban bet about where surtain jr signs if you want?
Posted on 2/1/18 at 4:34 pm to Richt_TheU
Lol. The closest pat surtain jr is going to get to Miami is when he is starting at cb for LSU against them in Dallas this season.
Posted on 2/1/18 at 4:37 pm to ImayGoLesMiles
He definitely wants to be coached by Raymond.
But he doesn't want to be coached by Orgeron.
And he has just as many connections if not more with Miami. You're talking about where his family USED to live. Fact is they currently live in Miami - and they aren't moving. And our CB coach is the dude that has been a 2nd father to him since before HS and was his HS HC the first two yrs.
Wouldn't surprise me if he picked any of the 3. But it's Gunna be Miami

Well, according to pat surtain jr himself, it's an Alabama/LSU battle, with LSU as his favorite. LSU has been his favorite for a long time. He hasn't stated otherwise. Insiders have LSU as the favorite, and it's not even close. Miami isn't even in the picture man, and thats according to everyone, including surtain jr himself. I just don't know how you can logically come to the conclusion that he's going to sign with miami when neither himself or anyone close to him have even hinted at that. So, you think he is just playing games and he will just all of a sudden choose to sign with Miami after all of this time? Come on now. I get it, he's a great player and everyone wants him on their team, but he isn't going to sign with Miami, period.

How about a ban bet?

Nobody will ban bet against surtain jr signing with LSU. That would be TD suicide for them, and they know it.
