That sounds good on paper. It isn't how it all went down though.

Good job getting him to stick to his commitment. Kinda weird though considering it seems obvious that GUS is going to be gone after next season. Maybe some boosters contacted him and guaranteed him they would try to keep T-Will or something

A lot of kids commit to a school and a program and not to a HC. Shouldn't make a big difference to a defensive recruit if the incompetent offensive HC is on his way out.

While Pappoe is a take for any college team - great athlete - his size limitations probably means he will be more of a strong safety/star type position than a pure middle linebacker.

Good get for AU - glad to see he is sticking with you guys.

Yeah, I wasn't comparing Pappoe to Lawson as a player. I was comparing their recruiting situations. Lawson committed to Auburn early and later on Tennessee fans became convinced they were going to flip him based off some inside info

UT fans thought they were getting UGA players last year and no different this year.

VolNation has some quality melts in their Pappoe thread. The best is Kirby apparently got Pappoe to commit to Auburn, then got him to silently commit to UT just to frick with the UT coaches. Kirby is playing chess while the rest of us are just learning to count with our fingers and toes

Isn’t he about the same size as Roquan was out of high school? I agree he’s not going to be a Ray Lewis in the middle, but he’s definitely physically capable of being an OLB.

The current thought, not mine, is that he was at Grayson for four years and really only gained about 10 pounds. Some people feel like he won't gain much wait in college.
