Makes sense to go to a team that will likely have a similar or worse record than Ole Miss. At least their defense will be better I guess.

JJ was going to see a playing time dip with Chase Campbell transferring in from Maryland and MoMo already holding the #1 MLB spot now that he's healthy. Jones is really solid in run support but is a disaster in coverage. Just lacks lateral quickness.

We can go nickel on third and long. This guy can help stop first and second down. Davis left and our stud replacement got injured so Jacquez is a godsend. He has bought us time to develop some other guys as well. Plus he is a hammer.
Jamin Davis isn't going to be replaced by one player anyway.

Fortunately he’s going to a team with some of the better defensive coaches in the country.
