Losing these two sucks - we wouldn't have accepted their commitments if we didn't want them.

This class still owns bones, though.

Time will tell on those two. Losing Brassell and Singleton I'm sure sucked for you too. It didn't end being much of a loss at all right? And those two were higher ranked than the 2 latest.

I can see the whole Linton/Peters thing, I would take Peters over Linton too. I think Jay Johnson is just an example of a guy that fits better in our system(if he is going to be a flex TE) . I think Jay is too light for DE and I'm not sure yall need a flex guy.

Why take Johnson when you could have will "the body" gragg?

If we are serious about Hibbler at DE then we need both. It will be interesting to see what we do with AJ Jackson as well.

Also, at 200-210 Johnson might be a RS guy if we were able to land Gragg.

Would I ever or have I ever said that we pushed out commitments that commit to a equal or better recruiting program to make room for better players?

Yes -- and you have before. In fact, I'm pretty sure I could find your statement on that in regards to Jerran Reed when Darious Cummings flipped to UF.

Do you believe that I am as big a homer that I would support the ranting a of say the spirit board?

You consistently defend Yancy every time his name comes up. Now you do the same with David Johnson.

I always find it funny when you pull out the "lol, Engie homer" idea -- when most of my replies to you are literally meant to mirror of your own approach.

I never said their national service sucked. The majority of the time they get the big names right.

No one said otherwise. They misevaluate MS kids. That was my point. You get OOS guys and basically recruit out of rivals' camp circuit, they are going to be rated higher on Rivals than the kid in MS that came to BDC and earned an offer with no Rivals people present and shut down the recruiting process. Doesn't make them superior players. And what has happened on the field has bared that out.

24/7 has people consistently evaluating MS. They are really the only service that does. As such, their rankings are far more fair.

Please stop making this point. By your stance, Ole Miss has recruited on par with LSU the last six years since the series is 3-3 during that time frame on the field....

Come on man, one game during the season doesn't determine how good players are. Ole Miss hasnt been close to LSU in recruiting during that time frame. Winning those three games on the field doesn't prove that we did. We just won those games. That's it.

MSU has recruited well and found some nice diamond in the rough guys. MSU has done a much better job than our last administration getting guys who actually finish their college career at the school they signed with. MSU lost two guys the same way you lose guys to Ole Miss every single year in recruiting. It's not some plot to get rid of guys to make room, you just lost two players. Its not that big of a deal.

Literally the same point I was making earlier. It's like he digs himself out of the LOL @ Engie hole and then throws himself right back in.

Engie pls. Go look up what I said about Cummings. I never said we pushed him out. Just that if we landed Reed it wasn't a loss because Reed was better.

I haven't defended Yancy in over a year. I defended him before because I had just started a scout membership and didn't understand how everything he said was wrong and I still don't believe everything is wrong but I've learned he is a dumb frick and have said so for the past year. David Johnson is labeled a homer because he CB kids to OM that's it. His board is the least homer board out of the three is why I defend him. But every single poster that comes on here saying stupid shite like "go home you farmers" or anything like that I tell them to take that shite to the spirit board. The spirit is the closest thing we have to elite dawgs even thought it's not close to the craziness. I'm saying rigjt here the spirit is a joke. You believe Ed is legitimate. That's the case and it's closed.

I looked up the Cummings remark you frick eat it an weep

Finishing ahead of you in the SEC 4 years straight doesn't also prove this? Nobody broke it down about the "one game"...

Yep -- those players almost always turn out to be elite and come back to bite us in the arse on the reg...

You were literally making the same point earlier that I had already made previously in the thread. I repeated what you had already repeated.

I do remember. And then the word came out on what kind of kid he is, I'm not going there, but even your beloved Elite Dawgs said they didn't want him. But while you're talking shite you want to add another year to the bet?
