For all we know he could have been the 3rd guard on our board. We already have Clapp committed and an offer out to Brumfield. We couldn't throw out 3 in state offers for only two spots.

We have offers out to a handful of other OGs besides Brumfield. Paul might be the #3 interior OL in the state (very debatable), but that doesn't mean he's close to an LSU offer. There is a MASSIVE dropoff from Clapp/Brumfield to Paul.

Exactly what I was hinting at. Sonny even said this is what a lot of out of state schools are doing this year in LA way more than ever before. A lot of lesser talent is picking up big offers (Texas, Florida, Florida State, etc) just so these schools can start getting pipelines to these schools. The offers "arent what they appear to be on the surface".

I think this is true. Not to mention our TE coach has a slight connection to the school.

Oh, okay, LOL... Have to brush up on the lingo around here

Nah, students are required to take/pass a certain amount of credits before graduating... It's been a minute since I read the student handbook though, so maybe things have changed...

Gotcha. No big deal man.

Not sure how close you are to Paul or the football program at his school, but being an EE would help him out a ton physically and mentally.

Keep me posted with this kid going forward.

Schools are starting to realize how much talent is in NOLA. The city is back and so are the athletes

I sincerely doubt that UF would offer this kid to get at Fournette. They have no shot at Fournette, even with a teammate. Maybe they see something in the kid

agreed, except i think they see more of this as a chance to break into NOLA/ST Aug than great talent in the kid. S&C coach and O line coach will have there work cut out here though. His big butt is 10 feet high in the air on every highlight.

Unreal that Dylan Moses (fourth from the right in the back - #5) is only in 8th grade.
