I know. Can't figure out why kids stopped wanting to go to an all-male military school just before Korea.

Blows my mind.

you mean in the 20s when a good percentage of universities where all male?

Not really. You guys like to pretend that part of your history doesn't exist sometimes and then in the next breath cite accomplishments from it to display your "superiority."

The rest of the SEC will start taking the Aggies seriously after they visit the redeveloped Kyle Field.

Aggies are providing our team the largest football stadium in the SEC and premiere NCAA football venue in America.

This stadium is going to be some nice and more!

Once known as an Aggie critic, I have come around. However, this is hard to pass up.

The new Kyle will undoubtedly be nice. If, however, you think that other stadiums are already not as nice or will soon be anything but, you are either delusional or trolling. Everyone is always improving their stadiums both in size and amenity. This Kyle project is more catch-up than pull ahead, although it will if we assume everyone else stays frozen, which they will not. Take a step back and think before you post.

To what do you attribute this phenomenon--the sudden lack of desire to attend TAMU between 50-70?

To what do you attribute the fact that every Arkansas coach since Frank Broyles minus John lol Smith has a winning record against Aggy? Keep in mind that almost all of this took place after the years you mentioned.

I appreciate your stab at objectivity. It was a good effort.

But nothing about new Kyle--from the array or premium seating, to the capacity, to the measures taken to increase noise--can be fairly described as "catch-up."

Will it be surpassed at some point? Sure. But that's the case for every school's project. So unless you're advocating that we stop designating a "best" facility in general, I don't follow your point.

Yeah, it does a little.

Look at the video on KyleField.com. I've been to Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge and as I posted, Kyle Field will be the premier NCAA football stadium in America.

Sorry, weren't we discussing the sudden halt in interest for TAMU circa ~1950?

I don't know what you're doing here.

Aggies have over taken Arkansas as the most annoying fanbase without shite to show for it.

Are they getting rid of that tackle box look with the new renovations?

We weren't. You brought that up. I said that Aggy's "all-male military" years that their fans bash produced the most success the school has ever seen. Then I said that beyond those years that you are still our little whipping boy.

I am not saying it will anything but be the nicest in 2015. Only pointing out that a) it is not there yet and currently is way behind on many fronts beyond capacity, and b) that everyone else is always adding on to their own stadiums be it with seats or niceties.

Truth, but a lot of people do it in fragmented steps. We are doing a lot of it all at once, and a lot of stadiums would most likely have to tear down a lot instead of adding on to be up to par.
