We have 4 5-stars in our room rn. 3 were in HS last year and 1 was injured. You sound like a moron

Should it?

We just signed arguably the best LB class of the Saban era. Our LB room is crazy stacked compared to last year

Ah yes signing 4 5-star LBs and getting Dylan Moses back from injury is very embarrasing

Imagine responding to 3 different posters, consecutively, on the recruiting board discussing a LSU commitment.

The life of a Gump.

This is just my opinion, dude. I'm not worried about LSU next season and he's gone in 21', which is the year when LSU could be a real contender again.

Also, teams don't pick up starter transfers for positions where they have sufficient talent. Losing your QB, significant outside threats, best RB, and most of your best defensive players will matter next season.

Leave it to a UGA fan to tell us how good LSU will be next year.

Maybe the next time we see each other, UGA can try and keep it within 20 points like they’ve failed to do the two previous tries.

Must be nice knowing all you have to do to get to Atlanta is beat Florida. UGA is the OU of the SEC, but with a shitty offense.

Nobody is worried about Georgia either you’ll have another ringless season under Kirby smart. Your incompetent head coach who who hasn’t come within 20 of LSU or your mediocre acc QB.

What's funny is that this guy, who excelled at a pretty high level for a dominant football program, is getting hated on and being questioned about if he's legit or not...however, uga gets an average transfer qb from Wake Forest that plays in the weak arse acc, and he's going to be their savior. It's hilarious. I promise you that Cox will be better and more productive for LSU than Newman will be for uga.

Congrats. Should be a solid pickup. The upper echelon teams in the FCS usually have a handful of players that would be starters at Major Power 5 schools, and every now and then they’ll have a player who could be an impact player on any team.

That’s why you see some drafted every year that no one knew about. Hopefully the kid will actually get to play this year (and every other team). Just hope he doesn’t have a good game in Gainesville lol.

Are the new guys as soft as the current group you have?

Oof! You better hope not!

I've had steaks that were tougher than that 2019 A1abana defense.

1. You do know we play two west opponents every year, right. The coming year we play Alabama and Auburn.
Remind me who LSU plays better than that?

2. We hired a new OC this off season, so hopefully our offense will be better. With the lockdown right now it may take another year to find out the difference it makes....who knows?

Chillmonster actually made valid points. I didn't take what he said as trolling. Look at his post with unbiased eyes and i think you would agree.

However, I also think LSU will be just fine. They always put together good teams. I don't see it stopping this year.

Absolutely true. If nothing else, he will be good, valuable depth, but it would appear as if he is a very solid player.

He might turn out to be mediocre. But lets not pretend thta three years ago Burrow was considered a mediocre backup QB at Ohio State who would not have seen the field at OSU. Shoot, the perception of Burrow had not changed after his first year at LSU. It wasn't until you guys grabbed Joe Brady that Burrow really flourished. Y'all forget way too easily sometimes.

What does any of this have to do with your QB?

We have 3 5-stars coming in and we’re getting Moses back so probably not.

Also Anderson’s highlights are amazing LINK

So, you don't see any similarities between the situation? I mean, the biggest difference is our QB has experience.

Hey...I'm not saying he is going to be great. far from it. My personal opinion is he will have similar numbers to what he had last year, but I am hoping for more. Especially with a new OC.

But seriously? You guys want to call him trash on here while forgetting three years ago you were in the same position with Burrow?

One was recruited by Ohio State and the other by Wake Forest

People forget how big it was that Burrow had two years to play, instead of just one. Burrow got to campus in June and had 3 months to learn the offense and win over the team.

Newman has one year of eligibility and will be even further behind where Burrow was due to this pandemic.

Also, Newman’s stats aren’t anything to jump up and down about. The only ranked team he played against, he threw 0 TDs and 2 INTs.

I don’t think Newman will be awful, but to think he’ll be close to Burrow’s 2019 season is simply, naive.
