Nothing of the above is exclusive to NIL. People have been signing friends/family members and hiring on HS coaches for YEARS to get big named recruits.

Maybe. Just seems more rampant these days. Or maybe it’s just that everything had to be more in the open so it’s more noticeable.

YUGE. LSU is portal shopping on Rodeo Drive whilst the rest of them are shopping at the mall. Its really scary bc we always sign top 10 hs recruiting classes and have very talented players even without these instant starters. I like kellys new approach bc it gives our young talent a little extra time to ease their way into playing in bigtime football without having to throw them into the fire and depend on them to possibly start while theyre still really developing. Dis gunna be gud.

This is absolutely it. Notice everyone's announcements now come on social media instead of doing a press conference-style signing day like in the past.
