The portal is ruining college football. Who wants to be a fan when your best damn player can immediately walk and play immediately and also go to a team you have to play. Same shite with Burton for us last season. Absolutely trashing the product becuase you want to root for these guys for 3/4 seasons before they go to the NFL but now you got guys building their brand at teams like Missouri and then transferring to a loaded team. Sucks

That said, going to enjoy watching him play. Georgia needs good WRs in the worst way.

I’m glad we got him but I agree. I think NIL will eventually self-correct/ be legislated more but the immediate eligibility transfer needs to go.

This may or may not signal that Georgia won't have at least 2 tight ends on the field 90 percent of the time next season. Personally I'll miss the maul ball and watching Darnell Washington destroying people.

Don't know how it will all work, but I do know that Georgia's receiver group will be in the top 5 in 2023 in all of the preseason magazine and Phil Steele lists.

Well one thing for sure, there isn’t another Darnell Washington on the roster. He is the ultimate unicorn.

Lovett is good, played for a QB that couldn’t get him the ball enough. Dude can get OPEN. It sucks from a loyalty standpoint, but not a whole lot different in the real world we all make decisions that we hope are best for us . Congrats UGA, dude can ball.

Sucks to lose him, especially to another team in our division.

But you know what also sucked? Seeing him open with 5 yard’s between him and the next defender, and having a qb that either couldn’t see him open or couldn’t throw him the ball.

Is what it is.

Luther is very talented, but a freshman.
Route running, getting separation, and the other repetition and skill stuff is what Lovett had honed so well to maximize his talents.

Lovett literally left because he was not handed more money and time because of his performance this year.

Honestly he is a good receiver but he caught a lot of yards in the middle of the field that ultimately didn't help the team, can only really get open if he can have tons of space and the whole field to work with.

I think he will have less touches, less yards but more touchdowns than he had at Missouri.

Luther finished I think tops(?) in total TDs for all frosh. He was good, he probably was as good we one can assume from a frosh in the top conference. We had another Frosh who was a real eye opener, so cant wait to get him more snaps now.
