Classic Pinkel find. Under the radar guy with superb athleticism, played some WR for his HS team. Basketball guy.

When he committed to us he didn't even have a recruiting profile, now he's a 4* and our highest rated recruit.

It's possible now that I hate Pinkel.

We kind of got a guy like that from up in Baltimore of all places. Played lacrosse of all things. Big kid, very athletic, rated a 3 star because of athleticism, but a bit of a project.

Never heard a whole lot about him as he redshirted his first year in '12. Played in 2 games in '13. And then he blew the frick up. Came out of nowhere to garner rave reviews last off season. Grabbed a starting OG job and had a phenomenal season last year and is a pre-season All SEC first team selection for this coming season. Greg Pyke. Possibly the best pulling OG in the SEC now. He is that good. An absolute killer. One of the nicest surprises I have ever seen for a Georgia OL.

Let's hope that doesn't happen with Newman.

Just kidding. Congrats.

This kid could be stout, but, there's no doubt his hs career has been against garbage competition.

Yeah, he's from a pretty small school but I've never seen that to be an issue for players. You can either play, or you can't. Might effect their ability to play early, but doesn't effect their ceiling

I live in Illinois and didn't know there was a Nashville in this state.

Those are fun pickups. Oregon got one in the last cycle that was a swimmer of all things that was given a 94 by 247. OL is a tough spot to evaluate.
