Remind me, is the Nussmeir kid out of eligibility, or does he have one year left? Also...didn't they get a pretty good/ decent qb named Swan from Vandy, how does LSU view him for the future?

Nussmeier has one year left and has declared his intent to return for it.
Swann was… not impressive in limited action against OU. Nussmeier hurt his throwing shoulder, came back in and still looked light years ahead of Swann. Swann is depth that we appreciate and nothing more lol.

No. He’s getting $500,000. About the going rate for a guy with some starting experience and upside.

no, god damn, it's not hard to understand. 500k a year for 3 years is 1.5 million.
That's an awful lot to pay for someone who basically had no to slightly VORP last year.

Word was he was asking Mississippi State for $1.5 mil and guaranteed starting job for him to stay. We told him to explore his options.
