A&M still has good shot at 5 SEC losses in a row.

So Malik is taking an OV to LSU soon and according to him, Baylor and LSU are recruiting him the hardest.

Word on the street is that McMillan is recruiting Jefferson and Lodge to LSU. If Jefferson was really encouraging Mack to look elsewhere a couple of weeks ago, this could get really interesting.

So you think A&M can beat LSU when this is your worst team since joining the SEC? A&M couldn't beat LSU with one of the best players in the country even when LSU had an off year like last year on defense.

Malik trying to uproot Mack is very real and very concerning, as established with a last second OV to TCU last weekend (unofficial for Jefferson). This is how I see this playing out:

Texas going 2-2 and being competitive wins Malik. 1-3, 0-4 and he's gone. Daylon Mack won't go to Texas regardless, imo....

A&M needs to go 3-1, 4-0 to reign in Jefferson and Mack together. They can't get blown out anymore if they do lose, and they can't win 51-48 either. And Snyder has to be let go after the LSU game regardless.

We need to keep Mack more than Jefferson, imo. We've already begun the process of looking at other prospects at OLB.

LSU needs to beat Alabama, Arkansas, and us and do it well on defense if they want both. And as an A&M fan, I hate to admit it but this is possible obviously given their track record. Malik family really wants him to stay in state but never know. If Les Miles entertains the prospect of the Michigan job though, all bets are off. Hoke is getting fired, there's no way around that, he's gone. Miles, honestly is a realistic hire....and if he goes, what would Chavis do? Hmmmm....

Yup easy win. I'm more worried about ULM.

We may not have much of a chance with Malik or Mack, but Miles isn't going anywhere bud. He knows he's got a GREAT chance at something special over the next couple of years with the youth of this team and how they're already showing flashes of their potential

LSU only gets both if they both come in for Bama and it is a legendary win. I know that is exactly what you said, but it needs to be another crazy game to hook both guys in.

I'd be surprised if we get either, but its a slight possibility.

That's just not happening.

Yeah, I can believe that.... maybe I set the bar high for LSU on recruiting these guys but that's the way I see it happening. Mack and Jefferson are really trying not to leave the state, but the way things have been shaking down for the Texas schools it hasn't been all roses, obviously.

McMillan may be a big recruit on and of the field if he can work some magic on these guys!

Well, I guess at least one of you still has a little talk left in you. It will get beaten out of you before the end of November.

Honestly I'd be more concerned about Sumlin darting to the NFL while his stock's still high, but you never know.
