1. Baton Rouge (La.) University High LB Christian Harris - Texas A&M needs linebackers, and especially inside linebackers. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Harris fills that role. Primarily a wide receiver for his high school, he is one of the Aggies' top overall targets left. He has a final four of A&M, Alabama, Auburn and LSU but the Aggies are in good shape. It would also be huge from a PR standpoint to land a four-star prospect that literally attends high school on LSU's campus.

He was asked to hold off for a while. Since then, with Bama's dismissal of soph LB VanDarrius Cowan, maybe they've decided to take another ILB. Harris has been invited to and will attend the Champions Cookout this weekend.

We landed Starks and Aranda fell n love with Mccallum. We are loaded at Lber. Harris is good don’t get me wrong but we have limited spots and We just aren’t hurting at lber where CH projects.

From what I've heard, Harris wanted to commit to Bama for a while, but hasn't got the green light. Bama cooled on him for a while and A&M gained some ground.
With the dismissal of an ILB from Bama, Harris now has the green light to commit to Bama after this weekend. Bama now needs an extra ILB and they want that to be Harris.
