Hmmmm, no. We had some pretty damn good LBer play under Chavis. He might have been a lazy arse recruiter but I would'nt go as far as to say what you said.

And I dont see why that matters. Hes going to LSU and yall should give him a legit and real chance to succeed regardless of all the bullshite that's supposed to be around him. I wish A&M was much more active in his recruitment cause we need players like him

Marcel is my best friend. I go to high school with him, and will be going to LSU next year. I have commented numerous times on the LSU recruiting board about this. Rumors came out about him being suspended for 2 games our junior year for doing meth. Completely not true. Also, that he hit a girl. There were a lot of rumors that came out, mostly during our junior year that were indeed not true at all. Actually, as a matter of fact, everything bad that could have been said was referred to our junior year. Does he do some stupid things sometimes with all of us? Yeah, we’re 18. Does he hit girls, do meth, and anything else that would get him into trouble, ruin his career/make him a bad person? Nope, and I’ll ride with him and stand by that till I die.
