Four and five star players are considered "blue chip". But if you want to use the "five star" standard, fine by me. Today lsu got a verbal commitment from just another four star football player.

We all know saban recruit's LA hard. He wouldn't have some of those titles if it weren't for LA players, seriously. He props his program up with studs from Louisiana, or at least he has. That's changing though my man. You need to let it go already. Bama isn't entitled to Louisiana talent and they won't be as successful as the years past. Book it.

Saban has been smart to target specific high profile schools. O is targeting those schools hard now and playing on state loyalty. Also forgotten is that LSU has always pulled from Alabama, primarily the Mobile area. 4 last year. 1 four star DL this year. Kwon Alexander is the best in recent years. LSU will have three Alabama kids on the two deep this year.

Well as of the last recruiting cycle alabama was pretty successful and this cycle is far from over, so we'll see how it shakes out.

You're right. Since 2015, he's taken 9. I'm not counting 2nd round tight end pick Irv Smith or Joseph Bulovas, the number 6 kicker in the country. Both three star players.

I don't think you know what a blue chip player is. And if you're talking about the busts on that list, well they were blue chips at the time they signed and you people threw tantrums over all of them.
