That Kirby sure is a great recruiter being he has never won anything, Especially at a program that hasnt won jack since 1980. Ridiculous.

So recruits should only attend schools that have won championships in the last 10 years? When was the last time A&M won something?

What exactly has your coach won? I can't seem to remember all of his titles. yet, y'all seem to think you are going to beat Georgia every. single. year.

How's that working out for you?

Mullen hasn't won shite but he's not recruiting as good or better than a coach with 6 national titles or the coach at Clemson with 2.

Kirby was recruiting similar to this when he was losing to McElwain so spare me the 1 playoff win bullsh8t or winning the East when Mizzou won it twice and so did McElwain,

After the year you guys had, good luck with those ticket prices.
They are probably going to soak you good.

Good luck in the playoffs. I think you'll smoke Oklahoma, but OSU or Clemson could be tough.

You got that right. He isn't. But then, Smart is sitting in a talent rich state as is Mullen. Funny thing is....FSU and Miami are crap and Mullen still can't recruit.

It seems odd that for years people laughed at us for being in a talent rich state and not recruiting up to that standard, and now that we are........"CHEAT!"

When he was losing to McElwaine? You mean that one year in 2016?

Nice try, Einstein. That was Kirby's first year, and he inherited that class. I can't decide if you are bragging that Florida coaches can't recruit, or if you are complaining.

This is the real world. Personality and effort matters. Helps when you are a top 5 program too.

The point dum dum was that the 1 playoff win or winning the east was not the reason for the recruiting success as stated above. He came there pulling top classes.

That would make sense if close to 4/5 of your class wasn't from outside of GA.

Good luck and congrats for the recruiting he's doing.

His recruiting prowess was a big reason why he got the job. Kirby has long been known as one of the best recruiters in the country.

More accomplished than Mullen with less time as a HC.

Ok starting to make sense now. As most know, Zach Evans was about to make his commitment in September and the conventional wisdom was he was “All Dawg”. - then the off field drama with the HS coach. UGA RB coach and recruiter Dell McGee still wanted him but the red flags caused UGA to back off. Evans always wanted to be a Dawg but didn’t have the option - so LSU and ATM became the de facto leaders.

At some point, Dell got with Kirby and they worked out some “GOALS” for Evans - most likely off-field stuff with academics, attitude towards coaches and teammates - sure there was third party verification with high school coaches, etc.

Long story/short - Evans met the goals and Kirby and Dell green lighted Evans for the spot. Good job young man! Hopefully this is a start of rehabbing not only his image but puts him on right path to being a better person.

Said he wouldn't change to UGA until he was sure about an LOI because of the nature of the kid. It's pretty much final now.

So at this point, what is the downside from either A&M or LSU saying that he didn't sign with them? What kind of backlash would either school get if they curb his ability to be an attention whore?

You run the risk of not getting any silents in the future I guess but frick it. LSU isn’t keeping them anyway so just let the cat out of the bag and move the frick on.

Oh, LSU has MUCH more to lose if they do this. Their last 2 North Shore players were Eric Monroe and K'Lavon Chaisson. A&M hasn't signed a North Shore player in 20 years.

I hear Northshore coaching staff aren’t very fond of Evens antics. They just backed off his recruitment from what I heard

Maybe he will enjoy getting beat by 3 scores when he plays LSU... that's the trend
