Well we recently found out that he is not going to fax anything on NSD to anywhere. He will be at GT this weekend for his final OV. Apparently UGA next weekend. ND thinks he is taking another trip to see them after NSD according to their insiders and everyone knows he wants the Stanford offer at which he would jump at. Not sure where Bama fits in but I would have to say that Bama doesn't really fit at this time.

His mom wants him at GT. He appears to be on the Stanford-ND train. I get the feeling he wants out of GA completely.

Weird recruitment for sure.

For some reason, he seems hellbent on leaving the state. He retook the SAT for Stanford but his scores weren't anywhere close on his previous tries, from what I've read. Second best choice as far as combination of Academics and Athletics is ND (edit; Not Stanford). If he decides to stay in the South, it will be UGA.

Apparently he is visiting UGA the weekend after NSD, so GT isn't his last OV... Just last before NSD which is irrelevant when it comes to DRob.

Could not sign an LOI at all knowing he has a spot at any school pretty much.

Yeah, I am with you. He just seems to be one of those kids that just doesn't want to be in GA. Wish he would stay in state but it just doesn't look like it.

Also edit: looks like his visit to UGA will be an OV.

Yeah, Roquan Smith committed to UCLA on NSD then news broke that Ulbrich, their DC, had left and our coaches called and told him right before he signed. He then took a few weeks, I believe, and committed. I don't think he ever signed an LOI.

Wow! What a coupe. I bet UCLA fans were pissed! How could the UCLA coaches let their DC announcement get out on NSD? What a fumble.

Lol I just saw that. Man frick Notre Dame. Every 5 star recruit that GT has any shot with those fricktards always pull some bullshite like this. We managed to flip Stephon Tuitt from them for like a day and they sent basically their entire coaching staff down there that night and begged him out of it.

And more uncertainty. Now, according to ND insiders from an interview with Demteris' legal guardian and brother Carlos, the visit to UGA isn't exactly confirmed.

"New Robertson is set to take an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend, but reports surfaced on Wednesday that the family also plans to take a visit to Georgia on Feb. 6 — the weekend after Feb. 3's National Signing Day

Carlos Robertson explained that's not exactly the case.

“[That visit] is still pretty much up in the air," he said. "It’s not really set in stone quite yet.”

Meh...I just get the feeling the kid wants out of state. Wouldn't take it too personally. ND coming in this late and pulling out the stops is annoying as frick though.

Every time they interview Demetris, he has nothing but good things to say about UGA. He was the one that told 247 that he wants to OV to UGA after Tech.

Then his older brother always worms his way into the spotlight somehow to amend things Demetris has said. Dude has been pushing Demetris to Stanford and Bama and Notre Dame the whole process. He has some vendetta against UGA and I have no idea what it is.

If I couldn't get into Stanford, Georgia Tech would be a nice compromise academically. Frick going to cold arse South Bend

That same thing happened with ZMac and QDog last year. And Rsmith pulled that same shite with DezM the year before that.

Had his OV to GT and cancelled his visit to Bama. Looks like GT/UGA battle which GT will not win.
