No, as I said, if he hadn't ruled out OM he would still be committed. He has been committed and openly looking for 3 months, no reason he wouldn't continue doing that if he didn't know he didn't want to land there.

CJ Hampton
CJ Johnson
Robert Nkemdiche wasn't committed but visited LSU the last weekend before NSD
Tony Conner was an Ole Miss lean forever but the final weekend it was thought he was gone after Saban visited him the weekend before NSD
Markell Pack
Senquez Golson (was a senior last year but still somewhat relevant)

CJ Johnson flipped to Ole Miss, not from Ole Miss. If anything, that supports the idea that Lewis will flip.

Hampton has been debunked. The rest are bullshite.

Everyone who has followed Lewis knows he has enjoyed the recruiting process. He wants to have his hat ceremony with some controversy and speculation around it. He very well may be an LSU lock. But I tend to think he's just wanting to have that big ceremony.

I think this may be the case.

I will say, after reading up on it a bit more, I may have proven my ignorance by saying State isn't in it.

Hampton was an EE who decommitted and then visited both Ole Miss and Alabama unofficially before signing with Ole Miss in the early period.

It's irrelevant to the situation at hand but I thought I would clarify.

why? you are miss state...as one poster said, be happy with the season you just had...that's as good as it gets for State..seriously. Even if you guys were to get Lewis, you are Miles (no pun intended) behind the top dawgs (again, no pun intended) in the West in terms of talent, and you always will be. It is what it is. I don't get all the shite talking by Miss State and Ole Miss. LSU under Miles is 16-4 against the two schools, neither has won a SEC Championship or NC in over half a century, and the top schools in the West have won multiple titles over the last decade alone. It's comical, it really is. Some of you actually think you are on the same level as LSU....mind boggling.

yes, but if you are being objective. Lewis or Jefferson, both could walk into immediate playing time at LSU. Whether you want to admit it or not, LSU is a much more elite program, in terms of accomplishments and putting guys into the NFL. If the kids are smart, they will go to LSU...but....who the hell knows.

We used to be years and now we're "Miles". How many "Miles" behind were we last year, over the course of the season?

Jesus, you didn't win the West? You beat a 5 loss LSU team. Yea, you guys beat us worst than the score. We accept that fact. I doubt we beat you guys with Dak again this season. I believe he is just a special player with the right coach and system. Things are up for State. The same goes for Ole Miss.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of our programs and everyone is fighting their asses off for the difference makers. Leo Lewis is one of those kids but he won't be in your program or ours for more than 3 years so you really get 2 good years if your lucky. He won't impact this season for any of us. Trust me we have the #1 Linebacker in the country Redshirting last season and isn't projected to start this season.

No way to predict what Lewis will do, LSU got in on him late. De committing looks like a positive sign for the Tigers but it will come down to the last minute on signing day with MSU, Ole Miss, and LSU. Hard to believe Lewis is possibly the only LB we may get in this class and we got in on him late.

Frank Wilson has been recruiting Lewis for a very long time. What's helped LSU lately is getting the guy who also recruited him at Bama under the same roof.

Lewis has told the staff he's signing with LSU. Whether it happens or not, no one knows for sure. MSU fans being so confident leads me to belive he's told Mullen he'll sign with state.

Lewis is going to be a Tiger, but the arse beating we are going to give you in Davis Wade will be of epic proportions. Sucks to suck.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were wrong on both predictions
