Golson wasn't told no thanks. He just told his dad that he didn't feel like Tuscaloosa was the right fit for him. I'm not being disrespectful. It just needs to feel like home.

The only guy on all these internet boards that I 100% trust has spoken regarding Tunsil. If he is wrong, then Tunsil has completely hoodwinked the coaches.

AG understood Bama's level of priority for him in comparison to Tunsil, who was also having his official.
Horrible planning by or horrible luck for the Bama staff having both on campus at the same time. They were banking on Golson being the backup to missing on Tunsil, and he saw that and was turned off by it.
It was an upward climb, but the chances would have been a bit better if they visited on separate weeks.

Lowndes25 is on Dawgs247 and 247 Blue Board. He will periodically also pop up on Dawgpost (Scout).

"Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss are now the schools I am looking at. Florida State is out and I do not plan to visit them next weekend," Tunsil told Scout Sunday afternoon.
For months, Tunsil has listed Alabama and Georgia as his leaders, but is that still the case?
"Not really," he said. "All three schools are the same right now."
